Meditation Practic

Is Meditation a part of Yoga? Or is Yoga a part of Meditation? Well! We are not going to get into this debate until you are ready. If by the end of this blog, you are convinced that you can find self-awareness with Meditation, then our ultimate goal of adding more value to human life is accomplished. Maybe, we will answer all the debating questions too, but only if you are open to exploring the other side of the world too.

“Meditation is a voice that doesn’t make any noise with the words.”

Which world are we talking about – a parallel universe, the fourth-dimensional world? No. We are discussing the “spiritual world”, which, if not discovered by you alone; will never be found by another. Like mental-freedom, it’s the higher-state you reach when you set yourself free from the materialistic things and sit quietly to dive within. It’s the day when you decide to listen to your inner voice more than the suggestions of others. Isn’t that what you are doing right now? Outer-guidance is required, but inner-guidance is essential.

How to practice Meditation?

Meditation is the art of finding yourself. Sit in a mudra position with crossed legs by keeping the back of your hands on your knees, erect spine, and arms straight on each side of the leg. Concentration becomes better when you close your eyes and just breathe deeply. Initially, start by only focusing on your breath and let the thoughts pass by until they are erased. This is a gradual process where you can increase your vibrations by extending your Meditation session.

The benefits of Meditation

  • Increased focus and concentration.
  • The ability to find solutions to your arising questions.
  • Inner-wisdom.
  • Peace and mental stability.
  • Balance of mind, body, and soul.
  • Harmonizing the inner-world with the outer world.
  • Self-control, and self-motivation.

How to find self- awareness in your Meditation practice

  • Cleanse your Aura
The more you practice, the better you can see the world which was earlier faded with your false perceptions. To start a new, you need to build a new, and that is possible most-naturally with Meditation. By filtering out what is ‘not needed’ and by sitting idle with yourself, you can gain ‘Self-awareness’. Here, you can judge yourself, and not allow others to do the same. By doing consistent dhyana practices, you slide into the self-acceptance and get a clear picture of what you need to do, and what needs to be off of your plate immediately. When your mind is untouched by the outer influences, you can detox your soul to the fullest. Purify yourself by picking Meditation as the tool.
  • Take a step towards Conscious-living and Enlightenment
Further, not only does it award you with self-awareness and hence better decision making, but it also forms a trail leading towards spiritual enlightenment and conscious living. More so to become socially aware of what’s happening around you, to gain a warm understanding of people from a higher perspective, to transform yourself completely (for the good), and the list goes on. Self-awareness is a product of deep-Meditation practices; it boosts your confidence, makes you positive in all kinds of situations.
  • Isolate yourself during the Meditation practice
Choose a quiet corner in your home or go to the Himalayas or even a beach, do whatever helps you get into your zone and where you wouldn’t be disturbed much. It is completely alright to meditate just at your place too. Some choose to put background music, repeated mantras, incense sticks, etc to make an ambiance for themselves while others can even sit in a crowded room and not be affected. If you are a beginner, then we may suggest you to start meditating alone first.
  • Consult a Yoga Guru
To get the correct guidance, you can also consult an established Yoga guru who will introduce you to the spiritual world. Learn the steps and allow the light to enter your body to re-energize your body and soul. Under the learned individuals, you can become spiritually intelligent as you discover more about yourself by finding self-awareness. Knowing the basics of Yoga, Pranayama exercises are going to add up to your overall health (mental, physical, and emotional), and a Yoga guru will help you reach your goals.
  • Connect with Nature
Nature can teach you more than your parents, colleagues, teachers, boss, or any other idols. Go out and breathe in the universal energy to align yourself with the ultimate power, and then breathe-out the negativities which are rotting within. Connect with nature and gain awareness.

Know that you are already on your journey to become fully self-aware because you are still here, finding out reasons and staying till the end of this blog to find out the answers.

There is no hard and fast rule to start meditation. You just have to come up with a way to connect to your inner-self and that would be the best approach for you. Always be kind to yourself and gradually everything will be revealed.
